據(jù)俄羅斯油氣網(wǎng)2月7日消息稱，俄羅斯天然氣工業(yè)股份公司和阿爾及利亞石油公司宣布在阿爾及利亞東部的 El Assel氣田開始建設(shè)和開發(fā)階段，預(yù)計(jì)該氣田將于2025年開始生產(chǎn)天然氣。

兩家公司已經(jīng)完成了在El Assel鉆探24口新井的工作，并修建了一座天然氣處理廠。

El Assel許可區(qū)域位于含油氣的Berkine盆地，位于阿爾及利亞首都阿爾及爾以南500公里，距離石油生產(chǎn)中心Hassi Messaoud鎮(zhèn)150公里。它由3個區(qū)塊組成，總面積為3250平方公里。

Gazprom和Sonatrach分別持有該項(xiàng)目49%和51%的股份。阿爾及利亞Sonatrach公司是非洲最大的石油和天然氣公司。

Gazprom and Sonatrach will start development & construction of its El Assel field in 2025

Russian Gazprom and Algerian oil company Sonatrach announced the beginning of the construction and development phase at the El Assel gas field in eastern Algeria, with the gas production at the site expected to begin in 2025.

The companies have completed works on drilling 24 new wells in El Assel and built a gas processing plant.

The El Assel licensed area is located in the oil- and gas-bearing Berkine Basin, 500 km south of Algeria's capital city Algiers and 150 km away from the oil production center's town Hassi Messaoud. It comprises 3 blocks with a total area of 3 250 sq. km.

Gazprom and Sonatrach hold 49 and 51 % in the project, respectively. Algeria's Sonatrach is the largest oil & gas company in Africa.

Algeria's proven natural gas reserves account for 4.5 trillion m3 (2nd-largest in Africa). The bulk of natural gas reserves are concentrated in the central and eastern parts of the country. The country's proven oil reserves stand at 1.5 billion tons (3rd-largest in Africa after Nigeria).
